She is an accomplished middle school teacher, excelling in the area of Language Arts, which is no surprise, since she loves to read and write. Regina is also a published author, her work appearing in The Motherhood Diaries II, a compilation of humorous short stories about the joys of motherhood. Acting is Regina&#8217;s first love, and since the age of 10, she has appeared in many plays, commercials, and several locally-filmed movies, including the critically acclaimed movie &#8220;Love Is&#8221;, written by the super talented Houston author Contrina Jenkins. When asked about her professional teaching career and how it compares to acting, Regina says that &#8220;Teaching and acting are one in the same,&#8221; she laughs, &#8220;because every single day, I get to go to work and put on a show. I don&#8217;t have to sell tickets, and my audience comes to me ready and willing to learn daily.
